If you are preparing to join guildwork there are a few things you need to know first.

  • Register your GuildWork user name. (This will not be your FFXI character, it's just for all your MMO needs)
  • Add a Character. (From the left hand menu "Characters" -> click the button "Add Character to Guildwork")
  • Make "GrandDesign" your LS. Make sure to type your game character name correctly.
  • You will need to confirm your character, much like you have to confirm it on FFXIAH.com.

For confirming your character, you will have to access your LS community Site.
  • Make sure you are in GrandDesign LS in the community site.
  • From there you will add a comment of random numbers and characters.
  • Once your character is confirmed, you will automatically be added to the gd.guildwork.com site.

Things members can do on this site.
  • Post pictures into the album.
  • Post Pictures to the feed.
  • Talk on the forums, or in LS chat.
  • Make comments and tags on pics.
  • View LS event schedule.
  • Add a wishlist for items you wish to acquire.
  • View Attendance to make sure you were accounted for.
  • and much more…..
